Òù69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø was thrilled to be part of the "Action Village" at the Noah Kahan benefit concert last Thursday, 9/19, at the Midway Lawn in Essex Junction! It was an incredible time joining other like-minded organizations with Kahan’s The Busyhead Project, a mental health initiative that breaks the stigma and provides essential resources. Alicia Webb and Rebecca Ahern from our 988 Lifeline team chatted with concertgoers about the life-saving support 988 offers. From connecting with Vermont business owners to sharing 988 info with families and educators, it was a night full of powerful conversations and community connections.

Inspired by her connection to the residents of Cedar Lane, an Òù69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø residential home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, high school senior Emma rallied community support to create a Prom event.

CYFS Ski & Snowboard Program

Nathaniel Lesch-Huie, Òù69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø Clinical Social Worker in the Children and Family Services Department (CYFS) created the CYFS Ski & Snowboard Program. This program aims to teach kids how to develop the skills to overcome feelings of self-doubt and believe in their ability to overcome challenging moments.

Through action and involvement, Òù69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø participating in activities such as building nature trails and planting, cultivating, and harvesting a garden are learning that there are steps involved in producing outcomes relating to change and progress.
